Possibly carbon fiber and kevlar lipped Front fascia (if not fiberglass)......Fiberglass sideskirts, and not sure on what the (if I even do one) Rear appron would be made out of.....As far as cost, I charge 10 dollars over cost and shipping for my time......Im not in any of this to get rich, if I want to get rich I'll sell em on ebay........You guys are getting the shit end of the stick for having an older silvia.....I think its about time things started going your way......

Your in Luck...Neither am I.....I'm into a big enough opening for my FMIC.....It will be a basic front fascia nothing wild, Side skirts will be near stock with a few differences......
Lemme get pictures of the first mold and then I'll let you decide....

if it looks anything like a simple j-blood kit for the eight six i would buy one right now, just something to square off the nose, i dont like the pointed look, anyways yes i would deff buy one

The Silvia Engineering bumper was cool too, and I think something like that would fit the car nicely

I can do that too......I have an Extra S13 Bumper laying around I can refit and mold the way I want to......
I can do anything.....I just need to know what you guys want.....

I like that front bumper and if it goes down put me on the list. Ill sell my eurabuni front bumber or trade it towards 1 of the j blood s13 style front ends. I need a bigger front opening for my ic. :hitit:

Well, To put in my two cents.... I dont like the j-blood look...Id definately buy one if it looked like that all white notch back pic that used to be on this website backround... thats soooo perfect.. and carbon fiber would definately be light and strong.. im not into putting anything on my car that would hinder performance in any way...

I'm with ARRO, we've all gone through this kind of deal before if you really want to guage people's interest then come up with pics or a prototype or something.

This thread is just to gauge interest. By saying you'd be interested doesn't mean you're commited to buying one. If no one has an interest in buying a bodykit, then why should he take the time to make one? By polling interest, he can see that there are enough people that "might" be interested, and therefore would be willing to invest the R&D required to make the body kits.
However, I haven't seen MechPerformance on in awhile. I would also like to see if there are any updates.

I like the whole concept, but I will be limited most by funds... so I put maybe. Also I like the MKII tail lights with the MKI rear bumper...looks pretty cool...8)

Yeah, this whole thing is coming quite well together... but then I don't even think I would be able to afford it in the end as well as the CF Hoods people are coming up with. It's just good to see that us S12 fans are making progress.

I could care less about the side view, what I am looking for is a large (and I mean LARGE) front airdam that doesn't look like crappy molded fiberglass 80's superluxo styling. Something clean, nothing fancy, that's gonna hold a big cummins diesel intercooler.

yeah it does look nice but remember, some kits look funny when you try to retrofit them from a rounded looking car to a squarish looking car. the bottom valance part looks great on that 180sx.

That looks like it would be cracked to shiits in no time, prolly fiberglass, and even it it's not, it's gonna catch on everything in sight.
So far Magnum's project front bumper looks the nicest, cool but modest.

well, if you guys do get around to making the kit (very suggested) I will be more than happy to feature them on my big 3 project cars, and re-sale them on the site.
