Club-S12 Decals Coming Soon

I've been playing around with some ideas for Club-S12 decals for a while now, and think I've found one that works. The decals will be a vinyl stick-on piece which will go on your rear quarter windows. Being vinyl, colors and patterns can't really be used, so simplicity is key. I tried some silvia logos, some Nissan logos, but the simplest and best looking was this one:

It incorporates the club's website address, the silvia logo (which is simple enough to do in vinyl) and your status on the board. I've requested them to be 5 inches x 3 inches in size, so they should sit nicely in the bottom corner of your window. I'm also going to see if they can make a few copies of these as well,

Very small and tasteful, but still easily read if you are closer to the vehicle.

Hey, that looks pretty awesome. So how big do you say? 5x3? I think that should fit for our S12 notchbacks out there like mine. I should measure and check if it will fit.

Based upon how dark Dan's side windows are, I would have to assume that they go on the outside. Inside have been suggested in the past, and shot down quite quickly, so the outside seems like the best bet. Also to anyone with concerns over the life span of vinyl graphics...usually if applied properly you are ok for about 4-5 years...

I recieved an email from the printing company saying that production is underway on them, but haven't heard anything back in a few days. I'll probably give them a call in the next day or two to get an ETA on these things.

And yes, it will be going on the outside of the window. As long as you're careful with the ice scraper in the winter (for those of you who have winter), it'll be fine.

Well I got word from AutoTrim Graphics here that the production of the decals is basically done. I've just got to set up a time to head out there and pick them up.

Once I get a final cost on these things, I'll start a new thread where you can place your orders through me. I'll also get a nice picture of the decal on my car so that you will know what to expect when you recieve yours. As always, Paypal is preferred, but money orders through the mail will be fine as well.

the drift event is most likely going to be either oct 11 or oct 10 so I'll need to know soon heh.

Yep, he called me on friday to say that they're done. I'm going down there tuesday to pick them up.

Yep, it looks like the decals will be $5 for two of them. $5cdn if you're in Canada and $5us if you're in the States (because of the extra postage cost).

Hmm this is true....didn't think of that....it's early here that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it ;)

k, I picked them up today. Sorry to change my quote, but I didn't factor in taxes. With GST & PST included, I'll have to charge $6 for the two decals. But that's still a steal of a deal considering I see most clubs charging at least $5 each or more for the same quality of decal. Oh, and I put my specially made "President" decals on today. :) It fits perfectly in the side window and is easily read from a distance, which is important since our S12's will be flying by so fast that they'll only have a fraction of a second to read the website address. ;) haha, bad joke, I know.

But anyways, I'll lock up this thread and start a new thread in the coffee shop with details of how you can get your Club S12 decals.
