Ok
Me and my mate are currently building up our cars for the street/track. Both of us have greatly improved suspension and braking.
Basically who in your opinion would win a 1/4 race and 0-60mph?
CHARGER:
Engine: HEMI 265ci 350hp @ Engine
Trans: 4 Speed
Weight: Probably around 1600-1700kgs
Suspension: Lowered all round with adjustable shocks and LSD
S12
Engine: CA18DET w/ JDM T28bb
Trans: CA20E 5 Speed
Weight: 1200kgs
Suspension: Front coilovers - rear low springs with kyb shocks
Ive got 3-4 neg camber @ rear so my take offs might be a bit slow!
We both have good aftermarket clutches with good tyres!
I dont have a clue who would win so any opinions would be nice!
If you dont know what a Valiant Charger is then:

S12 CADET vs Hemi 6 Chrysler CHARGER
This thread was saved without dates. "Around Jul 2004" is estimated from neighbouring threads.
should be close, but you should have him at the end.
Hmm, what's the Valiant got for a rear gear?
The /6 makes gobs and gobs of torque. He'll probably come off the line like a bat out of hell. If the Aussie 4 spd is a derivative of the A833, the 1st gear is close to 4:1. Those hemi 6s ran low 14 second high 13s stock. If it's worked and he can get his tires under him, I think he'll kill you 1/4 and 0-60.
That's if he can drive though. Launching a car like that is very tricky.
If you have an LSD and can launch hard, in boost, it could be a different story. But if you're running a stock ca18det with a turbo upgrade ... you'll be way down in hp and torque. The 400kgs will make a difference, but only about 75 hp.
wow. you know your stuff :RTFM:
Should be a good race if any. Try to record it on video. Those are always fun to watch. Even if you loose, its worth the valiant effort.
thanks guys!!
My little bro has got himself a new video camera so this will be on tape thats for sure and you guys will be the first to see!!!!
Yeah the val does make a crap load of torque for a 6!! A bit crazy at time.
Just found out he has oversized pistons, crack tested and balanced bottomend. New head for unleaded. and prolly a 650 carter or holly carby...
Its not looking good for me thats for sure!
Damn fat tank of a val :bomb:
