I only caught a glimpse of the commercial, but it looked like they transformed some guy's s12 notchback into a drift monster on the show, Tuner Transformation. Thought some of you you might want to know.
Granted, their website says July 13's episode is a Neon SRT, but the commercial showed otherwise. I may turn out to be wrong, but here's a heads-up anyway.
It airs Tues. July 13, at 4 & 8pm PST (that's 7 & 11pm EST) on Speed.

well then, the website for tuner transformation says they show up at meets n such and pick cars to transform.

Well... How about someone ask them to tune up their S12 just to see how the mods for an S12 will come about... it will give a lesson to everyone.
I clicked one the FAQ and they said you can have your car on tv and you can ask what mods you want to it.
I think Club-S12 should get our car on the show.

I saw that commercial and knew immeadiately it was an 86.
Not to mention the rear lights at the end too, dead give away.
did they spend 15k on that car? if so, 15k doesn't go very far...
Sorry about the blasphemy, guys. You'd think I'd know what my own car looks like by now. But like I said, I just caught a glimpse of the commercial. Should be a cool enough episode anyway.

Yea, I recorded it on my DVR, and watched it. I cant believe that $15k only got that. But it was funny. Announcer said it was "A half-ass overhauled engine" when they yanked it out. I liked it. I still like our cars though... IRS, larger displacements, and engines with factory turbos... But I still hate the fact that our cars have NO AFTERMARKET!!! I liked those rims on that AE86 though, Those are like the Konig Rewind or those super light Watanabe rims I want! They are made by British Motorsport or something, I'm gonna check them ought and let you guys know. Because I know a few of you out there also like those style rims:)
Maybe we can get a group buy on the rims or something? If we can get 10 of us together, I'm sure we can fetch a decent enough price.
