AS some may recall, i had a ticking problem, turns out the Release Bearing Retaining Clip was bent, and slipped off the clutch Fork..the fork was smacking into SOMETHING and making a loud noise.

Anyhow it took me about an hour to drop the tranny..ONE HOUR, impressed even myself. Problem is, i broke 4 of the 6 bolts that connect the Y-pipe to the Manifolds. Not sure what to do yet..

I am planning on taking pics, and explaining how to drop the tranny, replace the clutch, etc. I'll prob. do it wednesday (only day off this week).

I hate that damn retaining clip! Biggest pain in the butt sometimes. As for the broken bolts, just drill them out. You'll be getting new ones anyway, so just drill the crap out of them. For future projects, always spray those bolts thoroughly with penetrating oil and let it sit for at least a couple hours. It will work wonders.

Note: I sprayed those bolts twice every day the previous week..lol..they were not meant to come out, lol!
