The S13 or 240sx maf adapter works on the turbo models. That is what i used. It won't work on the CA20 maf though unless you mod it to fit.

oldschoolsilviadate not saved · #53

by modding the maf do you mean redrilling it or moving it

Philipn126date not saved · #54

not that big of a deal. most of them are aluminum.

mod the maf adaptor..not the maf..lol.

you redrill the holes

the adapter for the Mitsubishi Eclipse 97 - 01 looks close if not the same as the CA20E MAF senser shape for $20 it's worth a try. Even if it doesn't fit the filter could be used.

alright oldschool... there's three main options...
one: a full kit for a 240

two: go through JC Whitney... they have a somewhat expensive system that fits on according to tb size

three (what I'll probably do): go to Autozone, and pick up a $15 240 cone adaptor and a $25 cone filter, and hook them up through trial and error

i doubt that there is an exact match out there. just drill the adapter. not a biggie. if that doesnt float your boat, get one from bart. its an exact fit.

Anybody know if there's a s13 intake pipe that will fit our bay? I was surfing, and came across this one that looks like it follows the stock piping path pretty closely

indy's bay is f'kin clean!

Indecisivedate not saved · #60

lol sorry to say but my bay isn't as clean as it used to be..hahaha

but thanks for using it :D

Philipn126date not saved · #61

that is a sweet pipe. do you think that you could reposition that pipe so that it would go straight down past the fan shroud? just a thought.

for the short ram, you can use the stock elbows. just piece them together.

nice 8-)... new plan... your route. whoops... I have my battery in the stock location. I may try anyway. What are all those things that go into the stock intake pipe?

Philipn126date not saved · #63

2 vacuum lines. they suck, but you gotta have them

YankeeDrifterdate not saved · #64

so I can't just rip 'em out?

Philipn126date not saved · #65

try it. if it doesnt run right, hook them up. no biggie. ill get more pics up in a little while of other stuff that i forgot to mention.

Indecisivedate not saved · #66

I actually think there's 5 vacuum lines...

3(2 small and 1 big) near the fan shroud, one going from the piping to the valve cover(you can put a valve cover breather on that one and plug up the one in the intake..but you MAY experience some oil comming out of it and dripping onto your valve cover tho...so you can use an oil catch can there too...

and another one will be right by the throttle body..

there may be more...can't remember...i'll probably know for sure how many 2morrow when I put in my new throttle body

So will the S13 intake fit in the s12, those pictures looked pretty close if not exact. has anyone investigated this yet???
pretty cool idea

rs200sxdate not saved · #68

I ask again, because i think this would be a cool idea!!!!

I think somebody was going to try, but never heard if they ended up getting it to work or not...

rs200sxdate not saved · #70

I count 6, in that pic of the intake, there is another hose right behind the car Domain sign. At least its there on my car anyways. There is 3 on the battery side, one small about in the middle, and 2 on air filter side.

Philipn126date not saved · #72

two is the bare minimum

shanedate not saved · #73

to lengthen the wires to the maf to allow for relocating to the other side do you just cut them and add another length in or is this too crude and effect the readings it sends to the motor? relocating the battery doesn't seem too hard.
