GTA Meet Info

Ok, now with the new board, hopefully everyone can find this here.

I need to know what's going on for the 13th. I have a ton of stuff to do on the weekend, so I need to finalize the meet so I can plan around it.

Everyone that plans to come, please post it here. This is not limited to S12s. Bring whatever you happen to be driving. Mom's cars will be moved to the back of the pack, unless it's a cool mom's car. Come on, I'm giving away parts.

I better not be giving up sleep this week for nothing.

i'll be there. let's have it the morning. hopefully i can avoid some of the hotter weather and traffic. i'm having some cooling issues so i don't want to get stuck in traffic.

also, you'll have to post the address again since the old info seems to be gone.

My self, and my 200 will most definately be there...

S12 meet, Viper Test drive at Downsview ... take wedding pics.

10am I have to go and shoot some wedding pictures. Even though the wedding was back in April ... the original photographer ****ed it all up, and of course I had to critique his stuff and get roped into doing the retake. Can't say no to family ... and can't say no to the $$ I'm charging them ;)

So what time guys? It's Thursday now ... if we end up doing a morning thing, there's no way I'll make it. The pics won't take me long, and I won't be far. So I could either meet up with you guys if someone has a cell # I can call, or if we push it back a bit later I can make the meet too. Earliest I'll be free is noon, but I know everyone seems to want to make it early.

The TOAD won't be ready ... heh, who didn't see it coming? It's sooo close, but no, don't think so. Depends on how much I can get done tonight. Just combined with tooth problems, heat stroke, no money, and the band, I haven't gotten the time invested I wanted to. So the TOAD might make a dash to the Tim's just to say hi, then get hidden away again. Unless I get my hands on a welder between now and Sunday ... heh, guess there's still hope. But I do want to offer you guys some parts. I've got a good MKII front fender that is going to get thrown out if no one wants it plus some other parts that are just taking up way too much space. The Charger is down and out too ... I guess worse come to worse I can throw it together for Sunday. The carb got pooched sitting, so I've got it apart and soaking.

Somebody pick a time please, I really have to try and shuffle everything around to accomodate both, and the more time I have to do it the better.

It's supposed to be ridiculously nice on Sunday.

I'd like to make it, but I'll know basically the day before If I can make it or not.

i can only stay til about 2 or 3. i've got to meet someone after that.

it's going to be 29 on sunday! bleh. maybe i'll just drive the neon (a/c!)

Well i will try to be there for between 10:30, and 11:00. Plus I don't have to be anywhere until later Sunday afternoon, so I have no problem waiting for others...or seeing people in the morning...But if we could set the approx. TOA at 12:00 it gives a starting point...Hope to see you all there 8) 8)

k, noon, I'm pretty sure I can scrape my way there by then.

If you're coming from the 401 West or East, jump on the 427 south to Brown's Line, take Brown's Line south to Lakeshore Blvd. Make a right (West) onto Lakeshore Blvd

Once you pass Dixie (there's a Coffee Time on the North East side of Dixie, Ford Dealership on the North West ... the sign for Dixie is easy to miss, the Ford dealership isn't) keep your eyes peeled, it will be coming up on the left side (south) about 200 meters up the road.

If you're coming from the QEW, exit at Dixie, go south on Dixie, and follow the same directions above.

The parking lot is massive (for a Tim's) so head to the back. I think it will be obvious if anyone ends up bringing their S12 besides Alex. If not, look for the red MKII with the big Arctic Cat sticker in the back window. We'll be the other people crowding his car.

Good news, I think my chances of being able to go have just doubled from 25%-50%! Lol.
Guess I'll be cleaning up my mom's car to impress y'all...heh.

BTW, spotted a Red Hatch heading East on Sheppard Ave. west of Bathurst.
It's been so looong since I saw one in the flesh!

It was today, and the location was on the first page. We will probably be having another meet soon (hopefully), depending on whats going on with everybody...

Oh and Matt, if you are able maybe next weekend for that welding stuff...I am 90% sure I can get the welder for at least one of te days, and probably both...le me know what you think...8)

is there a meet happening in july? i thought there was some talk about that a while ago. i'm free all afternoon next saturday....

Yes we were talking about it...The 12th I believe we decided on, and the same place too. The time is still needed to be ironed out though, but I am free the whole day too 8)

Yes...I just realised that my self...sorry fo the confusion...This Saturday the 10th, at some time, at the Timmies Where it was last month...8)
