Hey there! I've realized that the youtubes are severely lacking in S12 content. I'm also realizing that my memory isn't getting any better.
In an effort to make us S12 guys not feel completely left out, and to actually remember what it felt like to work on this car, i'm going to be recording, editing and posting some of the work i do on my car.
Here's the first of such videos.

If you see me doing anything stupid (there's a high probability of this), please let me know either here or, if you wish to more publicly shame me, in the youtube comments!

All The S12 Videos!
I realized that it would be silly to make a thread for every darned video I post, so I've decided to turn this into a thread I can post to every time I upload to youtube.
Here's the latest
Making an intercooler mount out of a rusty, old bed frame: https://youtu.be/u2HnxNi0ETo
Welding perches for the new radiator as someone who doesn't know how to weld: https://youtu.be/2yjF-wGyvKI
Coolant system completion. Found a leak that immediately made me think of kelso840: https://youtu.be/82Ail2SgYsQ
kelso840 on 09:17:03 AM / 16-Oct-19
I can confirm that the firewall clearance is nightmarishly close. Anyone reading this thread who happens to be swapping a sr20det should change the rubber section of the turbo coolant hose that runs behind the head BEFORE dropping the motor into the car. Also consider deleting it by using a s14 water neck and braided hose as described in these threads.

Cool. Keep 'em coming.
Here's the latest and greatest https://youtu.be/0NcygdncRzI
The car moves under its own power with its new SR heart!
Y'all know what time it is! https://youtu.be/aNLgQ7YotNg
Intercooler piping done so we can finally hear turbo sounds! They're pretty lame considering there was no MAF connected so the engine was running stupid rich and only up to 2500RPM, but you can still hear the flutter
Good job, keep them comming
…excellent thread.
Thanks for the support! If you'd care to like the videos and subscribe, it would mean a lot.
There'll be more coming soon, including a wiring walkthrough to complement the SR swap wiring guide I've been writing over here: https://club-s12.org/forum/index.php/topic,38638.0.html
here's a quick one https://www.youtube.com/shorts/GL_0IV-Z_FY
This was a clip from the first test of the car on the street, and my fiancé's reaction to the turbo flutter
The next video is ready! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr3gVVdT5Xw&ab_channel=GeorgeLambadas
I actually need some help with wiring my RPM gauge. In this video, you can watch me fail at it. In the youtube comments, you can tell me how it's done!
My car is a car again! https://youtu.be/kRNUrBDTV3s
In this one, i tie up all the remaining loose ends and take the car on a 120km (~70mi) drive back home!
Also, here's a short one of the experience that was reinstalling my headlights https://youtube.com/shorts/S_wU0uaWPPo?feature=share
Those are definitely the factory screws for the corner lamps.
I love how cars of this era (I say this only really knowing S12s) were seemingly built with the "yep, that works well enough" mindset!
The trunk cover has the same feel to it, with the big dent moulded into it to fit the rear wiper motor
37 years of human slime https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0YZLciv4ikQ
I'm getting married in 3 weeks and we're leaving the wedding in my S12. My fiancé has told me that she will not get into the car in her wedding dress without a professional cleaning... After seeing what came out of the seats, I can't blame her.
I've been doing alot of content with my YT with both projects. If this content keeps coming in and I get over 1k followers from all of that I may just start live streaming this stuff.

Just a little guy
A little better success with the new 560cc's https://youtu.be/Cugu2wcexjY
We got married September 23rd 2023 and got the S12 done juuuuust in time to drive it there.
As always, appreciate your support!
