What's going on. I had my S12 with a ca18et since March of 2015, but I'm just now getting in to forums. I bought it from a dealership in Indiana with 106,000 miles on it and drove it back home for 13 hours to the east. I've been looking around and seen a lot of good info. I'll keep y'all posted on any updates to it.

Welcome! Clean car - nice find - let's see some more picks.
Cajun1 is your go to guy with questions - get louvers and your car is a twin!

Who the hell had an s12 on a lot in Indiana in March of 2015 that nobody here noticed?
Definitely a nice looking specimen.
Yeah, man! That is great, make good use of this forum, it's loaded with info.
He'd need the turbo hood and stock wheels to be Cajun's twin. Great find though. Welcome to the forum.
Welcome aboard PandaManJon!
kelso840 on 01:39:50 PM / 24-Feb-16It was D-Patrick Nissan. Not sure what city but they had for sale from about Nov 14 until I bought it Mar 15. I would just see if it would ever be sold every other day until I got tired and said screw it. Just bought a one way there to get it.

iceageg on 03:44:08 PM / 24-Feb-16I wish I could find a turbo hood. Damn near impossible around here. I still have the stock wheels. I just swapped them with my S14 stock wheels. I taught if I swapped the wheels, they would compliment the cars better. I at least think so.

I like the s12 wheels on the s14 more than the s14 shoes on the s12.
Sweet rides all around. Hopefully you don't end up buying a whole car for a turbo hood like I did. What options does your car have? I can see the rain sensor poking up... Gotta be more.
NICE!
That is my color. Lets see some inside shots.
I can't wait for spring to get here so I can fix mine up.
Welcome to the forums. Clean car and nice find! If you have any 18et questions I'm your man lol I love that little motor. Definitely plenty of info here it's just buried lol
My bad for the late pics. But here are a few that I took.

Excellent find! Pretty much everyone but Sideways and myself will say swap the engine, but the little ET is actually a good one if you aren't drifting its life away. I got over 300k miles on mine on original crank and no rebore, did some basic mods to wake it up. Now merging onto the interstate with a semi up my behind does not scare me anymore.
That's not entirely fair Cajun. There are lots of us that will encourage him to keep his ET if he doesn't care about getting sideways as a hobby. He can just upgrade parts as they need replaced like you did and make a little more power quite happily. Bit if he wants to build up the motor . . . any sane thinking person will inform him that he will get a lot more for the same amount of money from ANY swap candidate. Nothing wrong with the CA18et except its cost-to-reward potential when pushed.
18et is awesome! you can make decent power out if it if you do it right and for not much money. I was on my way to build a 400hp single cam and the ecu took a shit on me. I know theres a member that has over 200 on his or just shy. the only reason I didn't hit my goal is because life happened and I bought other s12s and put that project on the backburner wonderingraven actually has my old motor and is running it n/a so long block is still good after me beating it on it when I had it ...
