I owned an 87 200x almost 10 years ago, and have been looking all over for another that was local and had a fair price. Well I'm glad I waited!
Picked up a 1984 200x turbo. So far it all looks original, and kept in good shape. Its absolutely filthy but dont know how long its been sitting. It was sitting at a tow company. I've been a mechanic for years so I did a good look over, but they said it wouldn't start because of a bad alternator. Hooked a jump box on, and it cranked right up!! Everything seems to work! Bitchin' Betty, digital dash, drive computer, clock, radio, lights, power windows, you name it! The interior looks amazing! No rips in the seats or anything! 140,xxx miles, 5 speed, can't complain! Has a good battery now, alternator on the way, plugs changed (all 8), oil changed, coolant getting changed this weekend, then going to take it for a spin :D
Didn't realize how hard it would be to find a simple part or two though. Shew! Been looking all over just for a drive lower front bumper blinker lens, so maybe someone on here can help point me in the right direction. Going to clean it up really good and get a better picture by the end of the month when its running on its own, and tagged and registered. I can't figure out how to post a picture in here yet but I'll get there :P
So glad to be back in an S12!

Barn find turbo s12
Cool! Can't wait to see the pictures to see if it beats my 84 Turbo
Oh its far from new. Just going to be my daily. I have another car that I was daily driving and taking to the track. 200 tread wear is not fun during winter, so I'll just leave it parked this year and drive the S12 lol
As for parts, try RockAuto. On this site also check with jgonzaga, he has been a great parts guy.
I do have a few. You can still buy them online new. I just bought a pair last year for my restoration project.
Where online did you find them new? I can't seem to find them anywhere! lol
Just google Park/Signal Lamp 12-1230-50, LH. The lamps came from City of Industry, CA. The number is [phone removed]. Replacement for OEM, B6135-41G00.
