Ka24det s12 from WV.

What a up guys, I'm Christian from Wv.
I've got an '84 s12...factory turbo car, however, the ca18 was dumped and swapped for a ka lol.
I've had the car for a little while (my first s12).
I've always had an s-chassis car, but usually a 13/14.
Anyways, the car is a dohc ka, stock internal a, ARP studs, cosworth head gasket...top mount mani, 50 trim, 550cc's, enthalpy tune. S13 from subframe and suspension arms. Megan coils, qualiffe 2 way, etc lol.
Its a fun car for sure but I'm dailying it until I find a cheap beater.

I had a pretty bad base tune on the car and pushed my luck a little too far one night and that's where we stand.
I've already bought a new dohc and dropped it in, I just finished putting in my new clutch and de transmission tonight. So i'm hoping to finish her up this week and have her back on the road.

The wheels are my spares, my other (better fitting) fake wheels are on my s13 for now.

The burnt orange s12's are so awesome. Really too bad Nissan discontinued the color in 85.

I I've finally got the car to a fun level so I'm hoping to keep it for awhile unless I come across a clean s14 to trade.

LOL, I'm not planning on trading it for awhile if I do at all. I like this car a lot.
However, it's on the back burner for now until I thin out the herd a bit. I just traded an s13 shell for a Roadmaster wagon to DD lol. So I've got to sell one more shell then I can move my s12 into the garage to start working on it.
I'll try to get better pictures soon lol.

Roadmaster for a DD? I think I would've gone another way.... Roadmaster is a big ass car, and gonna suck gas down like a broke trick on a street fulla horny guys with cash in pocket. And it's big like I said, so parking that bitch is gonna sometimes blow chunks.

Lol its honestly not that bad. I'm averaging 27mpg out of it. And I used to daily an 06 duramax, so its not too bad to park lol.
Plus all of the seats Fold down and I can put a queen size mattress in it lolol.
Or parts...
But yea, I'm debating as to which motor I want to drop in the s12. Either go back to the ca18det to keep it OEM. Or ka24det again...or an rb motor.

if you happen to go ka again, make sure you post a thread about it and lots of pictures to help us new-comers even though you got the car with the ka in it...

there are plenty of ka swaps on and even a write up on the wiring all you have to do is search noob! lol
