Gotta fucking have one this year! Hell I don't car if its just the like 4or 5 guys that live in or around Illinois. But Erlenmeyer gotta get something going on. So any Midwest guys actually up for a meet this year?!

That said. Even that is a 7-8 hour drive for me. I'm kind of off in my own little world now...

But I'll beloit really the middle of all of us? 7 hour drive for you, 5+ hour drive for me.   Idk but I'd like to just get. Some people Roger, have some laughs make new friends, swap ideas all that jazz so I just hope we can really have a meet.

I don't mind going to Chicago area, but even that's still a bit of a drive for you.

I really would have to find an unwelded H190 for me to feel comfortable driving my S12 that far. So until I pick one up, that's a "Don't think I'll make it guys" for me.

Wouldn't be right without it thought. I've been to a Spec-v meet without my spec and trust me it just doesn't work;))

what usually happens at the meets anyways?

I have never been to a meet. If its car club or group of people with same car as me. Id think a meet go like this for me... We meet at some parking lot. I ask million's of question's about your car. you ask question's about my car. we pick each other's brain's for few hours while we wait for people to show up. Line up our cars and take a group photo. Then we mob the streets as legal as possible and see how many people we can get to rubber neck. maybee if its someone's local town we can barbecue at there house or drive past machine shops/garage's/part stores for the hell of it. If not a barbecue we find a food place/bar we can hang out the rest of the day. Or the end of the day we work on whoever's car breaks down first. :) thats just my vision. Oh, clubs12 stickers is a must.

State parks are good if they are big enough and have good roads around them;) A hooters is always a good place to meet, hell the Indy Sentra's club we had going a few years back even met for a Fast and Furious movie and hit the Hooters after then the strip for some laps on the south side of Indy. Just saying anything as long as we chill and talk s12 crap and even a little harmless smack!

Well, average distance puts the middle actually just north of Chicago, unless jay is totally out, then its significantly biased to south of Chicago. :lol:

We did a meet at the Gurnee Mills mall once before, otherwise there are a number of parks closer to Chicago too.

Joliet Illinois. We would not be paying to run just to meet up and watch some racing. If they have general admission :-)

I wish I was in FL still I lived like 30 minutes from PBIR if you didn't know used to be moroso motorsports park. Cheap as hell to run the strip and for like a grand you could rent the smaller circuit on a slow day.

It's outrgeously pricy to run there not to mention you have to be a "club member" I believe.

There's always Byron or Union Grove...

Of course if we do some racing, I'll need a helmet, otherwise it'll be one run and I'm done. :lol:
