What he said, but just expected to get pulled over
anyone ever use the "shoestring" towing method?
SchizophrenicMC on 01:09:58 PM / 13-Nov-12I've had to reserve a Uhaul trailer on a number of occasions, including when I bought my S12. They've never wanted more than the rental fee plus insurance ($8) plus tax. Even on a full trailer.
Well in nevada its different if i was able to.rent a uhaul trailer or dolly i would have because there was no way in hell i wanted to tow.strap my car from norcal to socaL then to vegas that shit was not fun and extremly dangerous i just wasnt about to leave my 2000 dollar investment in cali on some random street just for it to get towed....
Your alternative is to find a friend with towing stuff. I seriously don't suggest tow-strapping a car any more than a few miles.
didn't have any friends with towing capabilties the one guy I did know was out of town lol
drove it home hahahahahahahah
Now throw a B6T in there with a Probe/T-bird Hybrid IHI VJ11/52W turbo , and enjoy raping 'vettes.
@jay: shhhhhhhh. Gotta get through winter first.....then b 6t.....or bp-Sc..
I almost bought a bolt on home made supercharger kit for my EscortGT.... I miss that car so much, even if it was wrong wheel drive.
Sorry, relevant since it had the Mazda BP engine.
Haha I'm taking about towing a car with a shoestring. Relavence went out in the first sentence.
I still come across old pony escorts with factory turbo.
