just got a new stock for my mossberg. the Pheniox Kicklite adjustable. seems pretty well made. as good as you can expect for $80 worth of plastic. gonna take it out sometime soon and see how well it really reduces recoil.
Gun Thread?
I'll be buying one of these when I save up more. It's the only pistol i've ever held that felt like it truly fit my larger hands.

One of my favorite handguns. Like you say, fits in the hand really well and points nicely. I wish I had one.
my 2 favs (that i own)
for carry
and my fav range gun (id carry it but you gotta be husky to even try to hide the fucker)
Baby on 01:43:06 AM / 05-Nov-12If you find out what that is, let me know!
Nice. Ruger 10-22 has become the standard. My friends are always showing up with random ass .22 rifles from the 80's I haven't shot a name brand .22 in a long time haha. Im not sure if the 9mm and wife was the same comment, but just a heads up my girlfriend shoots my 1911 .45 better than her 9mm because of the weight and trigger style. Big calibers aren't necessarily for men. Hideo Kojima really knows his shit. If you haven't played mgs4 yet, do. Are you getting a gun for ccw, target practice, home defense, anything in particular?
I have accidentally fallen in love with Ruger Mk2 and will hopefully be buying one soon.

Oh, and be careful, the reason I can't afford shit for my car is because of these blasted "GUNS"
Played the entire mgs series, loved it!
My cars are pretty much the reason i no has gun now(have contemplated selling the zed for guns)
The awnser to your question... Yes...
Id like to have a ccw for both me and the missus, but also the confidence and intelegence and ability to use them properly... I want to learn to hunt and target shooting is fun(the little ive done)
I duno, never really been around guns as a child, never fired one(untill about a week ago) mostly i just find the mechanics and ballistics fascinating... Not to mention the power rush you get from holding and firing something designed to kill you or anyone else... That first round terified me, trigger felt like 50lbs... After that i couldnt get enough )
also, theres free food running around outside everywhere. Government should just cut food stamps and hand out mossbergs :D
price is tempting me to pick up a hi-point c9, but everyone said dont... Any one have actual experence with one? Any other guns in the price range that arent junk?
Also this seemed aproprate

I don't think Hi-Point has any competition in that price range, it's just dirt cheap. You may be able to find an old S&W Sigma for around the same price, I can't think of anything else in 9mm that good in that price-range. Most people will urge you to save up for a better gun, but sometimes that just isn't an option.
That Taurus PT92 I posted is 9mm and pretty cheap. Iv picked em up new for around $400.
There reliable as shit too, I dumped over 1k round threw my first one with out ever doing anything but brush the barrel out.
Used all kinds of ammo, including some old ass sticky rounds my brother in law found in his garage in a coffee can lulz.
I was purposely trying to see if I could get it to malfunction and it just wouldnt.
that taurus is beautiful

love that gun. its performed flawlessly
I have owned several Taurus handguns over the years and have enjoyed all of them. Most have performed flawless. I have had a couple of issues with their polymer framed models but their revolvers and all metal units have never failed me. The MIM manufacturing they use for most of their parts is proving to work pretty well at creating a quality firearm at a reasonable price. Based on my experience at lease.
Picked up my first gun yesterday, a mossberg 395kb bolt action 12ga
Pic of me cleaning it
Not an "awesome" gun but i like it... And bolt action is just so simple and reliable... And couldnt say no to the price
Badass! Congrats.
