mmh..interesting! I've never heard of it before. Thanks for sharing.

I had the same idea about using that natural line in the body to widen the car.
Now I wonder if I want my car to be that wide!

Here is a rough draft I made from a picture of Zastaba's S12 (wide on top, original pic on bottom)

It definitely could be larger (my rough draft, the Fisco is Wide enough :P)

i like the the front bumper on the other kit...how the front dam comes up and ties into the wheel well

your sketch looks more like GP i like yours a lot

ya I'm guessing that the Fisco kit have been molded to the car. It make it looks good, but it make it very hard to fix if you crash.

That or the fenders and bumper cover is one single piece.

You could always do the old weld-a-second-fender-on-top-of-the-old-one widebody trick. Would take some sheet metal skills, but it could be clean.

it might be one piece never thought of that

I see S12 body kits and it makes me actually like body kits. And I hate body kits. S12s just pull them off so well.

maybe i'm the only one, but i think it looks terrible.
sort of like the vader kit for 240s that was the jam back in the day, only boxier.

zastaba's s12 looks good, i just wish it wasn't molded.

I saw pics of this car a long time ago before i ever owned one like 3 years ago. Wanted that kit ever since

You arent the only one. I think a lip kit is about the only thing that looks good on cars this old.

back in then 80's i think you could get a wide body kit for anything. everbody wanted one for their car. i do like this one on the s12 just not sure of the wing

I've lived in that city, Ankara in Turkey. I might visit this summer, so if you need some hi-res pictures and close snapshots for reproduction of the kit, I can try to contact the owner.

I kinda like the wing. It gives it the full 9 yards kind of look for an 80's-style widebody kit.

I like the looks of the Group B cars and the old DTM cars.

that 510 is awsome!!  i know it would take a bit of body work skills but i have had this idea for a while, what about cutting off the quarter panels and removing the front fenders of a starion/conquest, they had nice widebodys to them
