Hey guys, it has been a while since I have contributed some helpful bits.

Today, I want to tell you how I repaired the rear part of my headliner just before where it meets the hatch. Mine has been hanging down for quite a while.

Originally this piece was glued on from factory. Well, that doesn't seem to be a good fix for me.

Repair time: 5-10 minutes depending on conditions

What you will need to repair yours if the vinyl isn't too deteriorated:
Pocket screwdriver (I used a flathead)
Small plastic putty knife (optional)
A sacrificial 4'-5' USB cable (not too thin)
Needle nose pliers with wire cutters

1) Pop the hatch and open
2) Sit in the back seat
3) Measure and cut USB cable with Needle nose pliers with wire cutters to fit all the way across Left to Right
4) Start from the center and stretch the vinyl back and around the metal mounting plate (See photo)
5) While holding the vinyl tucked into place, use the center most piece of USB cable and tuck it in tight with the small pocket screwdriver
6) Repeat this process while working from the center to one side of the car in 1"-2" intervals until you reach the plastic pillar finisher
7) Stretch the vinyl securely under the plastic pillar finisher, tucking it under with a small plastic putty knife, being careful not to puncture it
8) Repeat this process for the other side, again starting from the center

This repair should hold the rear headliner in place better than glue, since the rubber from the USB cable is elastic

Let me know if this helps.

Sincerely,
Jerry
