I'm heading for a small 4 day vacation that I've been looking forward to for 2 months not on august 11-14th, I won't be around often (If at all).
Going up to the family cottage passed down to us for a long deserved 4 day vacation before the start of the school semester. The building was built in the late 1800's.

Cell phone coverage is spotty. But IF I find a good signal, the best I've got is EDGE speeds. So it will be painfully slow and won't really be able to do a whole hell of a lot.
(Still, I will love my rooted droid and free wifi hotspot on it)

So yeah. Going to pretty land for sex, fishing, and listening to radio broadcasts from Europe and Africa on the shortwave.
If you want to see a few and a video (Pretty driving)

The land is Crystal Falls, Mi

only 1 channel on the TV
Atari, Nes, Super NES and board games galore.

A mid 20th century Telefunken (German) Radio with shortwave
(Not it, but same thing)

And serene, quiet time.

Where is your favorite place to go for some R&R?

Vacation house/ house i grew up in WV. 87 acres, creeks and ponds on property. big apple tree. all the hunting fishing 4-wheeling, off road racing, and "muddin" you could ask for. Oh....and white lightning ;

Sometimes I go up to the mountains here where I have timeshares. Not as wide open and private as back home, but it works lol.

My favorite place is Vegas... But that's far from tranquil (depending on where you're at anyway). :lol:

Vermont, anywhere next to the Connecticut river.

You could literally drink the water out of the river and have it taste better than anything bottled here.
