Hey guys.
Looking for a MK1 Notchback with preferably a 1986.

Looking for something really cheap. doesn't have to have a working
motor or doesn't have to have a motor at all!

Still needs to be decent in a condition and with a clean title.

thanks everyone!

Deco got the 84 turbo that popped up. wonderingraven got the SE. there was a 86 hatch up there just a day or two ago but its gone now. might pop back up. a month or so ago there was a notch that was up and then disappeared and then popped back up with different pics and a different ad and a higher price. feel sorry for the dumbass that tried to flip an S12

GL and ill hit u up if i find one. did you ever add me on facebook?

oh and if u find a low option 84 hatch I'll be willing to swap shells

Im looking for the rear portion of the driveshaft from an 84 or SRA model.  My u-joint has gone out and Im pretty sure its not serviceable so its time to replace.  Pm me a price shipped to 85225.  Thanks  yes

theres an 84 in the yard down here Cam

SlickS12Apr 14, 2012, 3:25 am · #12

How much to bribe you to pull it for me Colonel? =)

Colonel GustardApr 14, 2012, 12:29 pm · #13

whole driveshaft or just the rear? shouldnt be too bad at the yard

SlickS12Apr 14, 2012, 5:43 pm · #14

just the rear portion but if its a manual car and its not too pricey, possibly the whole thing..  Let me know about it please man?

Colonel GustardApr 14, 2012, 8:17 pm · #15

one at the yard is an auto though, not sure if theyre the same

SlickS12Apr 14, 2012, 11:10 pm · #16

the front might be different but i think the rear part should be the same all around.  I need to do this asap, my rear end feels like its going to  rattle its way out of the car lol

redleader36Apr 25, 2012, 11:08 am · #17

I have a stack of S12 driveshafts sitting in my basement.  If I took a few pictures, could you tell me if one of them is what you need? PM me if you want to try.  I don't check this forum very often.

Edit: i just saw you want an SRA driveshaft and I can't promise i have any of those.  It still might not hurt to look at some pics, though.

myth_S12Apr 25, 2012, 8:44 pm · #22

Still looking for one guys. Preferably an 85. thanks.

JuddezApr 26, 2012, 4:28 am · #23

Hi all,
I am located in New Zealand and I am trying to track down a set of CA20E engine mounts and brackets (long story short, somehow my silvia has the wrong mounts and brackets).
If it makes a difference it is a 1985 SRA model.
I would prefer to get these off someone in or around Phoenix as I can get them shipped to NZ at no cost if I can get them there. However I would be willing to pay for shipping to Phoenix.
I may also be after 1 (or 2) engine crossmembers.

If anyone can help please contact me

Thanks

Matt

rednucleusApr 26, 2012, 10:39 am · #24

I have the 4 brackets that bolt on the motor - came off an 86 and are the same as mine were on an 85. Can ship to Phoenix in a flat rate box. Can PM me if interested. How about $20 plus ship. I believe I have the bolts too if you need them.

myth_S12Dec 28, 2012, 2:41 pm · #27

Hey! Yeah, it's been a while. I have yet to hang out with you Vegas guys whenever I'm in town.

I've seen some come and go in my area back here in Northern Cali but no luck purchasing one.
Lately I haven't seen any on CL so I just though I'd run here to check it out. Looks a bit slow in the Sale section though.

sideways_s12Dec 28, 2012, 7:23 pm · #28

yeah actual car sales are slow as far as s12's go I been looking for a notch since Iggy found his white one... and no luck atleast not any close to me.

WonderingravenDec 28, 2012, 8:08 pm · #29

Baker had a brown one that pops up every now and then, it's autotragic.

sideways_s12Dec 28, 2012, 8:58 pm · #30

IggyEGuanaDec 29, 2012, 10:43 pm · #31

if u want my wrecked notch u can have it. could be a fun repair project. needs sections cut out and replaced with junkyard donor metal. it'll have no motor and no windshield and stock suspension and no wheels. still has a clean title tho :D

turbo-s12Dec 29, 2012, 11:31 pm · #32

myth_S12Apr 5, 2013, 12:35 am · #35

Damn! no one found me one yet?

sideways_s12Apr 5, 2013, 3:30 am · #36

Lol there have been a few notches for sale. wth you been?

myth_S12Apr 5, 2013, 2:00 pm · #37

Haha. Haven't been on here in so long. I've see some come and go either too far or out of my range.
Found an okay 84 on CL but he's asking $2,500. Never knew the market price went up so high for these cars.
