I am not, nor will I, part anything off of this car! No shipping, all transactions must be Face to Face

Hello all!

Its time to get rid of my S12. I can't keep it, and it needs a new home, or its off to rot in a junkyard. I've bought some more time from my parents to keep it at the house, but that window gets smaller every day.

Its an '85 Notchback, with 137,XXX on it (bought it almost 5 years ago with 112k, so all repairs have been done within 25k). Clean title, no serious accidents. In decent shape. Quite a few members have seen my car, and can vouch on the condition. Colin (Draconis) came up to my house a couple weeks ago and checked it out. J-Man, DM Rush and Redneck have all seen the vehicle, along with several members of Northwest Nissans.

Here is a partial list of what I've done. I don't remember everything, and I really don't want to think of all the money I wasted on it.

JDM Clear Markers
Turbo Hood
Turbo Wheels
New alternator
New starter
New Battery
All 4 New Injectors with new Seals
All 4 new Injector Collars
Drilled/Slotted Rotors
New Pads
New Alternator Belt
New Lugnuts
New Battery Terminals
Ground Kit from Caraudiofoolery on Club-S12
Intake Manifold Cleaned and New Gaskets Installed
Under Intake Manifold Coolant lines replaced
New Spark Plugs
New Fuel Filter
New Air Filter
H4 Headlight Conversion
Black Floormats
Power Door Lock Kit installed
S13 Steering Wheel
Clutch Master
Clutch Slave

Also included is an almost complete Turbo Lip Kit (missing parts before rear wheels). I'll also dump whatever other S12 parts I have (a shit load) on whoever buys it (mainly interior peices).

The bad:
Scratches and minor dent on driver's quarter panel
Surface Rust under the hood from a previous coolant leak
Dent on roof
Dent on hood scoop
Needs a new windshield
Exhaust Manifold leak
Needs a new BMC (will do this for buyer, or I'll take some $$ off and tow it for you!)

I need to get rid of the car. I'm asking $1000. I'm taking a huge hit on it, as I paid $700 and put WELL over $300 into it. My parents want it gone, so I need to get rid of it. I have some reciepts for parts if the buyer wants. Title in hand!

PM me if interested. Pics will be up later

Brake master cylinder I think. I would love to have this car but I dont have room right now.  Why are you selling it? What engine is in the car? You have too many nice parts on that car, it HAS to stay in the club somehow. Just please don't let it end up in a junk yard. Many members including me would pay you more than any parts yard would.

JayMar 3, 2011, 8:28 pm · #13

190E, not E190.
My buddy had one. I hated it, He came to hate it, and we drove it into a tree out at the edge of my others friends field. Many cars have met the fate of "That tree".....
Comfy car though, I will say

My dad had one, the steering lock on these car is insane. In winter, when I was sliding the car I literally had to look thru the door windows to look at where I was going. But that thing was slow for sure. But I really enjoyed that car.

I'm sure the 190E 16V were nice!

Is this thing running minus the bmc? How effed up is the windshield?

1Bad200SXMar 4, 2011, 8:27 pm · #17

Highly interested! Will it make the trip to San Jose, Ca? Is she currently registered?

Yes, it runs and drives. It needs a BMC to stop tho.. The Windshield has been that way since the day I bought it. It doesn't interfere with driving, and I've never had a cop say anything.

The tabs are currently out of date, but its $50 at the DOL. No Emissions Test required because it is over 25 years old.

Looking through my garage yesterday, some of the parts I have that go with the car are:
Original seats (Currently has black leather seats front and rear, bought on craigslist a couple years back, aren't in the best shape)
Original interior parts (Center console, steering column cover, visors)
Trunk interior

How quickly do you have to get rid of it?

ryan206Mar 5, 2011, 2:51 pm · #20
1Bad200SX on 09:21:23 PM / 04-Mar-11How quickly do you have to get rid of it?
ASAP. I hear everyday to get rid of it...

The diff fluid was replaced in 09, no metal shavings. Oil changes were regular, and no major leaks/burn. There was a slow (by slow, i mean top it off every 6 months) leak, but that was fixed when replacing the hoses under the intake manifold.

Like I said, shouldn't be an issue if you're serious, and most, if any, issues that occur can be fixed on the road.

Some older pics of the car. Driver's side quater has some scratchs and a small dent now. Can't notice the dent from a foot or two away

**Car no longer has the Silvia grille on it, it was sold a long time ago**
