I know that a few guys have fabbed in a newer multi-link IRS.
Question I have is one; Is the width the same and are 5-lug hubs easy to get? Are Z32 hubs/parts the same?
And two; I notice that the bushings are in the knuckle, which is aluminum; Does, anyone make a spherical bearing kit for this, or are these guys dedicated to rubber or poly in their rear suspensions. Or do I have to go through the grief of bothering the machine shop for this also? - Edit; Nevermind, found them.
I think I'd like the improved geometry, and updated ball&cage CV, but I don't know if I want to go back to rubber.
I've developed a thumping out back under hard throttle, I may be losing a CV. I haven't pulled anything apart to inspect yet, and I'm just gathering the cost of improving the whole rear design. It may be somthing else, somthing stupid, I don't know yet. - I love modifiying/building, but I hate fixing.
