I just use a heat gun(stops the paint from cracking) and a hammer for a roll or a baseball bat to pull.

Looks pretty good though Cheesy

hotdoghogieOct 28, 2010, 7:20 am · #14

No I didnt roll my fenders lol. I pulled then, I took the kink out of them to open up the wheel well and gain more clearence. Bleh let me explain real quick...

See in this picture the fenders have that cool stock crease along the rim of the well...

I am pulling them out flat and bondoing them over smooth to acheive more clearence and it looks much better IMO like so...

Because my fenders started doing this...

I know a real pull requires cutting and adding more metal.

Nothing really has changed since the last pics I posted other than relocating my remote oil filter adapter, removing custom fan shroud and turning it into a heat shield over the turbo(which makes a HUGE difference in keeping the heat down), and painting the intake pipe.  Next on the agenda is painting the valve covers matte black to match the pipe work.

Anywho..........

EternalSwapOct 29, 2010, 4:58 am · #17

your oil looks excessively easy to change

KeithOct 29, 2010, 5:02 am · #18

yeah it should be, lol.  I haven't changed it yet since I relocated it there...if nothing else, my time under the car should be a little shorter during an oil change
