I've been looking for another one for years, five to be exact and I'm cheap too. Man are these cars starting to be hard to get. I ran into this one by accident. Saw it by going down a side road & stopped & asked about it. Towed it home a week later. The previous owner said he couldn't get it to run & it had electrical issues, it does for sure. He said it hadn't been run in about 5 years. Once I got it home, I put a battery on it & it started right up. Go figure! It does need a clutch master cylinder.

What a coincidence, the date I registered here was exactly 8 years ago, given a few hours. On the same day I went & picked up this here car. yeah I know I'm weird.

Gee who would have thought a car needed a working battery to start? Sounds like you really scored as I am sure he probably sold it to you for pretty cheap because it was having "electrical issues" haha. Welcome back to s12 ownership : ).

Clean looking car you found there  cool2  I know a lot of members still believe in the old prices that these cars went for, but the fact is, they are becoming more rare. As that happens, the price will go up.
I had a hell of time finding parts for my old Notch because salvage yards make more money by crushing them than parting out. Looking forward to your progress!

He just mentioned that he has been searching and he is cheap. Thought he meant that it took a long time to find one for a decent price. That's how I took it. There are still some good deals out there.

It surprised me that it ran once I got it home. I mean once I hooked up the battery, it cranked for no more than 2 seconds before starting up.

I just picked up this super clean notchback for dirt cheap as well. Sorry for the nightime pictures.
