:wtf:the car's only making like 200 hp, it's got the stock turbo so it's not really super easy to slide in the dry especially in a small parking lot like that.  That's interesting you say that though because I'm hella use to drifting cars with an open diff.  I really just wish I had my ebrake working, thats what I'm most accustomed to sliding with, but it's good training for me to practice clutch kicking since I use to almost never do that in my old car.  Honestly I'm just happy it's sliding this good, when it had an open diff and stock suspension it was really hard, I was still tearing it up when it was wet though.   Have any videos of you doing better?

Ive tried getting mine sideways with my open diff....lol not easy.....can do it in the rain ok though! haha

RoofAug 10, 2010, 7:16 pm · #9

ebrake is the shit with open diff imo, it's all about using momentum instead of power since you can't really put it on the ground with the open while sideways

KustamogenAug 10, 2010, 8:04 pm · #10

my ebrake is a hunk of shit .....no way will it lock up a tire haha.....it will hold the car enough to make it functional but in no way would it be useful in driftin' the car around lol

On my notch, I Pulled the ebrake in a parking lot once and one of the bolts flew out of the bracket on the axle.  Lol.

Lol, that what i was trying to say. Mine works for holding my car, somewhat. But it wont lock up while drifting

They are easy to make, i made mine for free. Im using a honda clutch master cylinder. You could probably make something that utilizes the stock handle, mount, and ratchet system so you could still park

Mine works great now,

Just go to the junk yard, and get ones out of a 300zx.. fits great.

I replaced the link in the first post with the original uncut vid.  Much more clear for whatever reason....just a tad longer though

I didn't know they used undercover s12 where you're from.  Hmmmm
