So me and my best friend are planning a 2 week trip to Los Angeles and Las Vegas, in end of August. Whats there to do for fun except the obvious tourist stuff?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Any suggestions? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Wow, you won't run out of things to do in two weeks in those two cities!
In LA you really will have to rent a car, everything is spread out way too far to get around any other way. and I always recommend the Griffith Observatory and a drive up PCH from Santa Monica to Oxnard. Also the Getty is pretty cool if you like museums. You need to try some good Mexican food, because I've found that Mexican is where Europe is lacking in cuisine variety.
Vegas has everything you could ever want. It really depends what you're into. Vegas clubs are probably the best in the world, and the shows are all top quality professional acts. Also Vegas has some of the best restaurants and best chefs in the world. You need to check out the Venetian, the Wynn, Caesar's Palace and the Mirage. They are not just casinos! Look out for the Ferrari - Maserati dealer and Ferrari experience at the Wynn and there's also a similar Lambo exhibit at the Palazzo. There is a Lamborghini restaurant there. And it really is worth getting out to the Hoover Dam while you're in Vegas.

I was i usa last year, but with my sister on a kinda family/businesses trip. Did San Francisco - Los Angeles - Las Vegas. It was too short time though so there was not much time for fun. Did go out i L.A, club called Avalon.
This time its more all out ftw party and what not. 5 nights in LA and rest in Vegas.
2 of my friends did a similair trip 2 months ago. They went to newyork and a couple of other places in between as well, but they had 2 months.Ill try find out how they got their hotel rooms for really cheap. Ill get the link and post in here.
The best clubbing scenes are in miami tho, right? Thats what I have always thought
