(ca) Digital Cluster Reman Anyone......

Digital cluster reman service. Ive been contemplating offering a digital cluster reman service i.e broken speedo and odo gear and illumination and functionality problems. I want to see if this interest anyone the cluster would be shipped from your address to here in california were myself and modmastaz would take the appropriate measures to correct the faulty cluster and ship it back to your address. The clusters would theb be tested on our cars for functionality to insure the issue is resolved (since we both have digi clustered cars one turbo one na)

you guys willing to offer any kind of a warranty on repairs? I know how buggy and old these are so i understand if you guys arent going to offer one...

If I had a digi dash it would most likely already be boxxed up and ready to mail out as as i am sure it would be messed up.

Also, offer a "Preventative measure" package, for those who just flat out never want to deal with it.

Ill take all digi clusters given to me lol. As far as warranty i mean if our repairs that were done to correct the issue, create another problem i dont see why id charge u again but if the cluster fails again and fails in another area we would charge u again since that had nothing to do with the initial repair.

Pretty much we will dissassemble the entire cluster and insure all the contacts are clean and free of debris, resollder loose connections and breaks on the boards, replace boards if neccesary reman the power and control units if deemed to be problematic or replace the unit with a reconditioned one, odo drive gears realigned, pack terminals with dielectric grease pretty much well do a full inspection of the cluster and if we find other issues we will contact you and let u know what sorts of action will be needed to insure you have. Working cluster and like i said we will personally test the cluster on our own vehicles so there is no discrepency.

Awesome!!!!! My tach doesnt work or works when it wants to, speedo is off by 10mph, odo stopped, and temp gauge doesnt work..... No need for shipping i can come to you lol

Let me know dude because i took mine off and sprayed a lil electric parts cleaner and the tach worked for a lil bit, but i havent took it apart....kinda scared too but it looks pretty straight forward idk if i come to you would it be cheaper lol

my speedo sometimes doesnt work.. well, most of the time..

Could it be the part that changes from mechanical to electrical? or can it be the digi dash?
I was thinking to just switch to analog, but this might be a better option

Could bw either still the optical eye could be trippen more or less im leaning more toward a control unit those seem to fry rather than the opti units

YEA contact me via pm. im currently out of refurb'd control and power units im sourcing more so i can r&r them and get this service crackin again. its cool to have a digi cluster but imma swap to analog most likely or go with a custom auto meter setup.
