I may choose to update the rules, but I think really some common sense is needed here, and I fuckin' hate to put common-sense things in the rules. Frankly, I'd rather warn or ban.

But that aside, let me get to the point.

First off, and most common... the rules state it, but here it is: NO big ass images. EVER. The rules have example images and dimensions. NOTHING LARGER. There is no cap on how many images you have, but none of them can be bigger than is specified.

Second, your OVERALL signature can only be so big... there is a SECOND example image that represents the maximum size of the ENTIRE signature. This includes text and images both. So make sure it fits in that size. Believe me, I open up two windows, scroll them to the same point, and flick back and forth between the two to see if you're past the line or not. If you are, I will usually delete it, but we can and do occasionally issue warnings for these violations.

Third, DO NOT post anything that flames another person on here. If you believe they know you're joking, that's up to you. But if I or anyone else questions it, we may ask you to remove the content. This is not a debatable thing. It's up to us, the moderation staff, to decide what is or is not acceptable, with me as the final say on any decision. So, if Ben or another moderator tells you it's ok, and I say it isn't, don't come whining to me that they told you it's fine. If you want, you can discuss it with me in a PRIVATE MESSAGE in a civil manner and we can go from there.

Fourth, ABSOLUTELY NO images of nudity. Or of symbols related to human cruelty (such as the Nazi version of the swazticka). Or of any brutality, or otherwise cruel and unhuman acts. As well, no text slogans degrading any  race, creed, or religion. YOU CAN HAVE POLITICAL STATEMENTS, but use your judgment. Like with all things here, if we deem it's way over the top, you may be asked to remove it. HOWEVER, we will not ask you to remove it just because someone else doesn't like your political view.

Fifth, if you have been warned or banned for any reason, DO NOT use your signature area as a place to continue your drama or grievances for all to see. It is a sure way to get banned for quite awhile or permanently.

Because the uproar was over someone's political content in their signature, and I felt if you had been allowed to keep yours, he should be allowed to keep his. So the person in question put back their political content. Otherwise I'd have to ban political content in sigs, which would mean similarly in Coffee Shop, which we all know I don't want to do.

So I specified things so that (within reason) we can put what we want there.

common sense is based on experience.
You can't assume that someone is going to think or act like you.

Set the rules in stone.

beside I have 24" monitor, lots of bandwidth and fast quad core powered computer. never seem to have issue.

I feel so quoted on this site... I should keep track of these things.. but meh. That punching bag was nice, had to cut the guy a deal though so I could get that gasolina!

I honestly think everyones sig on here is way too big.
On Aus12, mine is probably the biggest sig out of them all, and Joshyouwah's.
I have a 15" Mac Laptop, and loading any page usually takes ages due to the sigs, mainly gif ones.
But I spend my money on my cars and other things than a new mac

Falken, I'm not in the habit of handholding, so general rules about nudity and sig or image size are as far as I go. If someone's political statement offendes someone else, it's too fuckin' bad. And if someone doesn't have good enough sense to keep racial slurs or other stupid shit out of their sig, well that's what the warn/ban button is for.

I won't take it farther than that and use training wheels on Club-S12.

but mine is patriotic (and non-partisan! how do you like THEM apples!)
