For us in the southeast, it seems impossible to set any real meets. I'd really like to change this. There are enough of us around here to make this a reality! I'm going to be flexible,  when would be a good time for you. I'm thinking late march/ mid April. This would be a good location for people from Virginia to Alabama.

I would love to get out to the Dragon sometime this summer, although I'd have to bring the SE-R since the S12 is off the road at the moment.

Where are we talking about meeting?  I'm thinking it will be a little further than I care to drive.....but you never know, fill me in with details

If I can get the car up &running, me and a buddy of mine ( his station club is going) are planning to go May 7,8. Just gotta get some rear tires and rack bushings $$$!!$$$

Well, when we did it in 2004, we had my SE from Raleigh, and two former members with intercooled CA18ET's, one from NJ and one from TN.  We met (and slept) at a nice little campground in Maggie Valley, NC, near Waynesville.  It was only about a mile off I-40, and even closer to US Rt. 19. Real easy to find.  It would have only taken us about 30 min. to get to the base of the dragon from there, except we spent an hour or so on the Blue Ridge Parkway to get warmed up...

Crap!!!! Wife just informed me " mother's day is on the 9th" and if enjoyed being alive,
I'd need to find another weekend. So still up in the air for a date.

sounds like it could be fun, a buddy and me had been planning to go to the dragon at some point. he'd have his evo, but I'd have my s12 up and running by the summer I'd think...I'd hope. lol

Quick rundown

City: Olympia, WA
Location: Olympia Nissan
Date: 8.14.10
Time: 11am - 4pm

The good stuffs!
 - Raffles, discounts for purchases made on that day, goody bags, and some press

So far, there are a planned of 24 members from the local Evo forum attending.  28 from Nissan forums, mainly that of NWN.com.  And 1 from a Z forum.  Let's see how many S12s can attend.

I will be attending as with the rest of U.P. Garage, S3 magazine, and NOS.  With NOS, you know that there will be free stuff.  My buddy Terry who works for them has been really active in getting NOS into the import scene up here.  The list of other companies, sponsors, and affiliates are listed on the link above.

I was thinking about going...but i am currently unemployed and also i was reading the meet thread on nwn and it sounds like parking at this is going to be a nightmare....

DraconisAug 3, 2010, 8:57 pm · #16

There is enough parking.  They have opened up a couple more lots.  Just the main lot in front of the show room area that holds the GTR is filled.  At first they didnt think it was gonna be this big.  Once they realized, they have been working constantly to adjust.

Hey guys, just wanted to toss this out there. Nicoclub (aka Nissan Infinity Car Owners) is having a meet Sept 3-6. They have a BBQ, swap meet, photoshoot/show and a cruise planned. I don't think its anything official, just show up and meet fellow nissan fans on a great road. Anyone driving anything is welcome.

I'm taking my hardbody, you guys should show up. I would love to see some of your rides. They have about 40 members RSVPd so it should be a decent meet.

Sorry, I guess I never actually mentioned that bit. Its at Dragon's Tail. We're going to be meeting up in Robbinsville, NC, which is the closest town to Deal's Gap. If you guys want more info, theres a thread at the nico forums here.
