Hello for y'all,today my friend brought an old nissan s110,because he has one,and because the engine in it (fj20e)had electrical issues with the owner...
So,he will sell me the engine with everything it needs from the car to put in my s12, any body has any thoughts about the engine? the design "flat" valve cover... i think it's mod 1990,i'll post pics soon...

They all look "tired", the red OEM crinkle paint always looks like ass. Just strip it and repaints it, powdercoat, or polish
the wiring on the fuel injectors looks sketch..
Well today,we fired up the engine,as i told the s110 was purchased from an old man because the car had"some electrical issues",in fact a peice of electronics which has holes (i don't know it's name in english) was in a bad condition so the current was weak there,it's underneath the flow meter,actually my friend left all his wiring/electrical "stuff" from his fj20e that he sold before even i knew him,so he replaced it and the motor run,but the fuel pressure was low 0.7 not even 1,so the fuel pump may be bad and will replace it;
He manipulated a screw in the air flow meter to accomodate whith the low fuel pressure and the motor run perfectly but we did not rev it because there's no fuel pressure until we replace the pump,the car has 117xxx km on it,so i assume the hardware is good i hope...
the next week the transplant will begin,and the engine will b in shape i'll post pics forsure
poor man he sold his car for this bullshit that his mecs didn't know to deal with...

Jon1990ccFinally the baby is sitting under the hood,but i'm not done yet still some work to do,like replacing the stock chain tensioner with a mazda 626 one,i purchased,adding some anti-freeze,and replacing the oe filter (the box) with an aftermarket filter,it's supposed to be done tomorrow,i'll post pics...

ArroI'll probably need a bottom end, maybe even a tall-style valve cover if you have a spare one... I have *most* of an engine and if I can put one together I'll stick it in the blue S12.
I like this... the FJ is finally being brought to S12's on both sides of the world. I've been preaching the FJ for years now.
Im still preaching the FJ and I will have one in my bay someday. When I get garage. Until then I can only stay jealous at you guys running them LZ20 is also one Ill try hunting down
