i know this guy irl, he'll ship anywhere as long as you pay the shipping and he takes good care of his stuff

these wheels would be DOPE for an se (better fitment than the usual crown victorias)

what condition are they in generally... any bends?

reason for sale?

obo?

I'm interested...

JomNov 29, 2008, 11:40 am · #8

i can answer some of those questions

no bends, wheels are great since i last saw them (a couple weeks ago)

reason for sale is he sold his starion with the starion wheels on it, and kept his hayashi's but now he wants to get rid of them so he can buy a new car

thats all i know myself though

I would probably trade you my 85 turbo for them but you would have to sweeten the deal. Car for rims? Rims better suck and f*ck. Especially for something as precious as a s12.

No offense, but used, and no centercaps... I'd offer them for a bit less. More than a bit, actually.

JomJan 29, 2009, 9:10 am · #15

used? no centercaps? arro are you serious?

i dont think being used has ever determined how much a wheel was worth

TalkingGoatsJan 29, 2009, 1:22 pm · #16

I would have to get these re drilled for my wagon. IF down the road they haven't sold I can offer $450 SHIPPED. Which is what I would be paying for 16 x 10 steelies.

Dude, Why didn't you use these pictures instead of those shitty dark ones?

Think about it, when a wheel is new, you're pretty sure the condition is perfect.

These may still be close to that, or they may not. Although the pic right above here shows definite road rash on at least one of them. If that isn't a cost reducer, then I don't know what is. But really the biggest factor in what I said was the lack of the centercaps, which is a pretty big deal. Assuming they can be had, they won't be cheap
TalkingGoatsJan 29, 2009, 5:40 pm · #18

These are real 3 piece and very repairable. I think after a thorough cleaning and polishing even $700 is not to much to ask for. I think mesh wheels look better without center caps. Especially BBS wheels.

ArroJan 29, 2009, 6:17 pm · #19

ehhh I guess I'll leave that up to a matter of opinion.

TalkingGoatsJan 29, 2009, 6:20 pm · #20

Pretty much one of those "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." things. They would really only look good on old school cars and slammed cars.

His asking price is still less than the price of 1 new.
