Occasional High Idle/loss Of Power

so i occasionally have these issues with my se

i replaced the plugs, cleaned the maf and the t/b

i have a short ram intake i made, i was thinking possibly it could be getting heat soaked?

the high idle happens erratically, hot/cold/run hard/easy

the loss of power happens after running at freeway speed, my guess is this is a heat soak issue, it bogs down unless i floor it, then it breaks out of its lag and gets back to normal

i want to resolve these issues before i do the swap, as ill have my hands full then as well. things like pan gasket leak, power steering leak, manifold to downpipe stud broken.... etc

have you seafoamed it? that thing does wonders lol
