Drift661Apr 18, 2008, 4:49 pm · #8

That 1951 Ford is for sale, runs but needs tranny work.

DerMetzgerApr 18, 2008, 9:41 pm · #9

Jesus, you car looks EXACTLY like mine. Same color, cloth pattern, steering wheel, and even the same paint fading.

But your body and interior look better than mine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yea, I thought I got a hell of a deal for my car. But, shit, thats 10 times better.

But, how many miles does it have and how well does it run?
ArroApr 19, 2008, 4:13 am · #12

Nice Mark I (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I've always been a fan of the copper color. Ger 'er repainted in the same color, y0 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Drift661Apr 19, 2008, 4:28 am · #13

142000 miles and the engine needs a new turbo and exhaust.

JonBApr 19, 2008, 4:35 am · #14

Nice! Welcome!! Probably needs rings too.

I love that car!! '84 Datsun stickers too.

F%$K that Ford..I'm sure it'll out corner the Nissan with it's solid beam axles and rubber bound ladder frame, and out brake it with it's drums. Does that thing even have shatter glass? Does the Non-synchro 3-on-the-tree rock...Just my asshole opinion of the '50s cars..Julie loves them though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pinch2.gif) ...Don't take that to heart..I'm in the minority amongst hot rodders.

I just noticed that both you and I even have the same little rust drip in the corner of the passenger rear window.

pfff. if that truck was fully restored, it would actually hold its value, unlike a s12.

that '51 is a thing of beauty

It's nice. I gotta agree, and alotta people love'em.

My self; I'm only on this rock once, for a short time...And I wanna drive an awesome car yesterday! Before I was happy I'd have that thing chopped, sectioned, slammed, swapped, and modded to to the point where it wouldn't even be right that I owned one...So.. fair enough?

There's one here in at the same dealer where I got my second 200.

I did a compression test and all of them seem fine

You want to buy the truck Julie?

brewster240Apr 19, 2008, 6:04 am · #19

im gonna have to get some pics up of the family truckster tommorow.

54 ford f-100, nova clip, camaro rear, 302, c4 automatic, power steering etc.

its a fuckin awesome cruiser and does not fit the mold of anything described here.

sometimes its about the potential of things, and not what they are presently. like most s12 start out as shit boxes, and move into being somewhat fast shitboxes. and the few elite come out to be nice looking fast....

julieApr 19, 2008, 6:13 am · #20

i have a ford truck already lol... and im paying over $4 a gallon to use it. damn diesels.

im in the market for a gas saver car for school and eventually a 69 chevelle or 70 challenger. i need to own a muscle car before i die

What's with copper... was it a popular color in the MKIs? I dont think I've seen more than 2 MKIIs of that color.
