Hello, I have a question about the IACV. As we all know the black/yellow wire is the idle air control valve wire on the s13 harness.

Which way is the correct way to hook it up? I did my research and found them wired up all differently.

A) On a relay
Pin 30 - 12v Constant on source
Pin 85 - Ground
Pin 86 - Ign. On
Pin 87 - Black/yellow

B) Connect this black/yellow wire to any 12volt source.

C) Does not need to be wired up.

I currently have mine wired to a 12v source. When the engine is cold, it idles around 15-1600 till it warms up.

When its warmed up, the idle fluctuates, but its smooth. Sometimes it idles at 900, and sometimes it idles at 1200; Or somewhere in between there. But the idle is consistent, not jumping up and down.

Or is it doing that because my car isnt tuned.. sad.gif .. I've had it running like this for over a year now, and it never really mattered to me, but I want the car to run perfect now.
