Okay, long story short- I stumbled across a really good shape SA22C RX7 the other day and when I passed by it had some papers on the windows.
Its for sale. I have no room nor the money for it.
1985 Mazda RX7 SA22C.
98,9XX miles on it (probably the 12A, but not sure. I think it is the GS model)
5-speed
interior needs a bit of attention.
outside is really good, left tail light has a chunk missing out of the lens, and there is a small rust spot (SURFACE RUST, NOT A HOLE!) just above the bumper, but below the tail light where it wraps around on the left side.
Owner says it runs and drives, but needs a clutch and brakes. BUT, he also said that the brakes don't work that well until the car is warmed up or something to that extent. I think it may be a vacuum leak, but I don't know rotary cars, so it may be something that I don't know.
Both lights pop up fine and work- just thought I'd toss that in cuz he turned the lights on to see the mileage.
LOCATION: Racine, WI
PRICE: $1000 Firm
CONTACT: John (262)939-7803
MY ADVICE: BUY THIS CAR! From what I could see underneath it- no dramatic rust, just surface rust in the usual expected places, nothing flaking apart or making holes. Overall a solid car that needs a bit of work.
