Hey guys. Just thought I'd let everyone know about my return back to the S12 lifestyle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
As some of you may know, I sold my 200SX SE V6 to a local car enthusiast last year after picking up a 1997 Maxima for a daily driver. Shortly after picking up the car, Mike ran into engine problems with it which grounded it until a solution could be found. After some research, Mike took on the task of installing a VG33E into it rather than rebuilding the original engine. After a long winter of wrenching and doing tons of parts swapping and wiring, the 200SX finally roared back to life this spring. Mike got about a month of good driving out of it before the radiator popped. Tracking down a SE V6 radiator in Canada proved to be next to impossible and the car sat in his garage all summer.
A few weeks ago Mike approached me with the idea of buying my car back for "next to nothing" just to get it out of his garage and to get his Dad off his back. I contemplated it for a while and finally decided to jump on it while I had the chance.
So I sent a tow truck over today and the ol' 200Sexy was pulled back to my place. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)
So yeah, I never thought I would be in this position again. I figured I was out of the S12 stage and moving on to other things, but I just couldn't say no to my old red beast. Fond memories in that old thing.

So "Hi again!"

A pic of it next to the Maxima this afternoon, dirty but still basically in tact.

Hello Dan! Glad to see your back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)...
But sadly I am now on my way out......

(this damn forum got me hooked on wangan midnight now -.-)
lol u bastard dan, i guess i considered buying it a little too long.
Welcome back! I hope you consider yourself lucky, you were able to buy back your S12... Mine is a different story. But that left me open to nab a great condition 73 VW Super Beetle. I know I got this awesome Bug, but I really miss the S12 scene. So I really only hang out here to get general help, entertainment, and offer my help with any problems the noobs have (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Holy farking spit, Dan is back on Club-S12! And with his old car! Is it me or does all just seem right in the world now?
But yeah, Dan, how many times have you bought that car?
Dan!!! The forefather of it all!!! Welcome back!!! Glad to see you again. You, Chris, Premo, and Keith are the first gen. guys I look to when I first got into this and tried to figure out where I wanted to go with my project. So glad to see you back. And yanno, it's not so bad buying your old car back.. it's telling you that you it doesnt want to leave you and that you shouldnt sell her again.
