I doubt that's the whole thing I'm pretty sure there's more to come considering the ca still has the ca20 motor and that is most def not a drifting motor
man, that really hits the spot for some solid info...
I love articals like this... however if the prices on our cars go up dramaticly because of this, theres going to me an oily engine head in someones bed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Nice! When will this issue hit news stands? Or is it already out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
Well its a start. Mostly cheap paint. I'm sure we'll keep our eyes on the articals. I can't wait for parts & mods. How accurate are you on that weight? Do you have or borrow race scales. I wanna get my car on them, but their like $1000. Theres a big floor scale at work, but I could only get 1 wheel on at a time. I don't know how accurate that is. Before I modded mine with a roll-bar and other chassis stuff I took it to a semi-truck scale and they let me drive on it. The car was stripped of AC, PS, carpet, headliner, and back seat. With a 1/4 tank of gas and me (160lb) in it, the print-out came to 1740lb, I don't know how accurate that was but its all I got so far.
Hey Keith... our cars are close together for once... Guess that solves our problem for getting together one day for that one photoshoot we keep talking about. LOL
And now I'm gonna be in NorCal in about a week... and you're not there. Guess I'm just a 'little' too late. LOL

Where in Norcal are you going?
On a different note......has anyone seen this mag anywhere yet.....not this issue, but just in general? Like issues 1 & 2? I was told Barnes and Nobels....but I checked there, and the guy said it wasn't in their database

Nah that can't be right.
I Put KLOX's S12 on the electronic race scales they had at Orlando speedworld and It was gutted just seats dash and a steering wheel, with the A/C and P/S still in it and it came out to 2440lbs
Yes, I've seen this magazine at the car shop I go to for everything and where I got my shit done. I also sent them information and stuff on the S12 and my swap last year... but when I emailed the guy above, apparently with the move and stuff, it got lost.
I will be in Rocklin area... but will visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Keith, can you tell me where you got the picture of your car with the bridge behind it? I am wanting to do the same.
I'm available on sat 25th. If you can make it, I'll send you the details via pms.
What motor's going in it. A KA would be best for a budget.

PM sent...............
Yeah, this is just the first article we did on the car. There will be more to come . . . suspension/motor/brakes/cage/etc.
And I'm totally open to suggestions on anything . . . actually I would really appreciate it.
As far as newsstands: this is the first issue that is really going to be on a lot of newsstands . . . but it may take a couple weeks to get there. And it may not be in every store. (Mostly East and West Coast) It should be in Barnes & Noble, Borders, BookAMillion.
If anyone wants to subscribe, I've got a special link here for a 10 dollar subscription. (half price)
