Had some troubles with the O2 pipe sitting on the tranny today, but I lucked out when my new roomate had a nice shiny circuit sport O2/downpipe for me to use. It's the most bling part of my car now aside from the rims. It could use some spacers in the back but the fronts sit nicely. Oh yeah and a teaser pic of the motor in car at least the first time.

Well It's been a long and damn it's been a long time but I got to drive her for 12 hours before I spun three bearings. So it started off with dyno runs at 8pm ish that totaled ~280 hp. (IMG:http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w307/E-rockafeller/DSCF1040.jpg)
The next day was dday 40 at el toro. One burnout box and two runs later I popped a boost pipe but when I got back to the pits It was worse than expected. Now the engine is back out and awaiting a crank swap and some new bearing while the other block hopefully gets built. Luckily when I get pissed at the s12 I go and play with the s13. (IMG:http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w307/E-rockafeller/P1140030.jpg) All I need is a 5sp and a cage and I'll be happy with her.

PremoJan 18, 2008, 7:58 am · #9

*sigh*

i miss my vert! LOL

dude, throw a 5 spd in that bitch man!! fuck, ill help! doesnt that car that originally had the hood have a 5spd you can swap?

hillkillJan 22, 2008, 8:20 pm · #10

mr200tFeb 17, 2008, 2:21 pm · #11

really nice work there man. hey i know i was supposed to buy the coilovers off of you a while back but uncle sam said i owe him. id rather keep good credit than have my front suspension dialed in....i know my priorities are all screwed up...lol.

hillkillMar 11, 2008, 11:32 pm · #12

Ok So I got the original crank balanced and polished and slapped her back in with new ACl Race bearings with Calico Coatings Thanks to Eric's Performance. Can't beat a company with the same name as me and has a $#!T load of CA parts in stock. Hopefully Tomeii poncams and adjustable camgears are in the works soon. I also happened to get nicknamed the Smoking Pineapple, after last event since the s12 put out almost as much smoke as a 500hp 4th gen Supra. Hells MTF YEAH

Thanks guys. I somehow made it out to HTM for an awesome Just Drift Track Day. Too bad I blew the turbo later on that day. But it was fun as hell while it lasted.
My girl took some awesome pics and happened to go for a couple rides while Paul at Toxic Images took some amazing close up pics.

Turbo was on it way out anyway. But I got a brand new s15 spec r turbo on the way. I'm hoping to break 300hp with this one. Also got talked into picking up some rims. 17x8 17x9 +37 +31 Rays Volk Racing VR-X. I cant wait to get some rubber and slap them on.

Well I finally got to go back to the place where I first crashed into a wall and then F'd up another motor. Lets just say this time was alot better. Rock the Drift at the NOS center in San Bernadino. I finally got to practice some tandem and had a fun ass time with the king of the hill format. Even though my oil temp got up to ~125 the good ol CA kept kicking some butt.

nice good action shots. For tandem do they require a cage?

EternalSwapMay 28, 2008, 12:44 am · #23

Woo Tommy Robert Roberts hahah

Your cars lookin good man.
How'd this motor go?

Radracer_SMay 28, 2008, 12:50 am · #24

Awesome as always.

JonBMay 28, 2008, 1:01 am · #25

Nice! I love it. We need more guy's like you puttin' the S12 on the map in performance scenes.

hillkillMay 28, 2008, 2:48 am · #26

Yeah they required a cage for tandem. Some guy with a Cts-v even wanted me to put a cage in his car for next event.

People were definetly suprised at what the s12 could do. And the engine ran a little hot but it made home and that all that matters. But I'm getting ready for Irwindale next week.

oh i heard you did pretty good hillkill

my friend ruined his fc that day

i hear my man jeff did pretty good too ended up taking everyone out in 1st round

hillkillMay 28, 2008, 6:57 pm · #28

Yeah Jeff won the first round but I took him out and 2 others the second round. That first pic is of me on his ass. He's definetly a good driver. I even remember when he had a Cerwin Vega FC. Speaking of FC's that one that crashed was pretty pimp with that mustang motor in it. It's sad when some of the gangsta cars get smashed up, especally this Green flaked turbo miata that got pretty badly beat up.

silvia loveMay 28, 2008, 7:24 pm · #29

nice pics! i notice a lot less body roll than before. are you still running the megan coils" hows the rear setup perform?
