made a new cluster with some parts ordered from summitracing.com
thanks to Gyuji for the inspiration !!

Gauges on top are Boost/water temp/Oil press And boost in the cluster are rpm and digital speedometer , the speedometer is a cberdyne unit and will be perfect to get the KA24E electrical speed sensor signal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

where do you get your led bulbs from?

i go to www.superbrightleds.com and they seem to be hit and miss, thier flashers suck, but if you go with thier high power stuff, it can be very nice...

just asking..lol
FrankMar 9, 2007, 12:37 am · #11

im just using the led's in the cluster as signal

made a switch panel , leds are wired to the switch so when the switch is on the led lights .... OOOOHHHHHH (wonder why they don't look staight on the picture ?)
and under is the master kill switch which cuts power to every single item in the car
Sheetaluminium FTW

Looks good man, What turbo have you decided to use?

FrankMar 9, 2007, 10:32 pm · #14

t3 off a RB25 or a t3/t4 , i may be getting a SAAB turbo from a 2005 car since i work in a dealer. i heard those turbo's are also t3 ?

updates ?

finalized my computer , had a couple of mods to do on it
the computer usually controls fuel and can be made to control 1 coil (ideal for distributor installation)
i decided to go with dual coil packs in wasted spark mode
so i had to mod the computer to drive 2 coils instead of one
i installed a relay control in the computer also !
i also decided i needed electronic boost control . in fact, the parts needed to make the boost controller in the computer costed me 3.91$ , so when i see someone buying a 500 EBC i feel like crying !
so i moded the computer (once again) to allow it to control boost with a map here's how the map works
(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v186/200sxboy/boost-control01.jpg)

loaded with mods it looks like this :

megasquirt?

NamelessMar 14, 2007, 8:45 pm · #18

megasquirt is a stand alone ems. The only catch is you have to build it yourself they just send you a bunch of crap and some instructions.
