Ka24de... Swap Day!
Looks right at home!!
ill be watching this and other swaps progress...im swapping in the KA in the future..
Is this a swap in to an mk1 or mk2? What are you doing about the transmission, that's the ka24de 'C' transmission, right?

its an 86 200sx, before february... so it's a weird model as i reed!
i took the belhousing of the ka24de tranny, and i puted it on my B tranny (it's the one wich you cant remove the shifter plate on it....) and it just fit perfectly! still, i didnt drive it yet, but hope it's gonna be good...!
k you need to pull the motor back out and use the bell housing on the ka ang the trans from the s12 if you already did this great if not your gona do alot of damage to the fram the ka trans is not at the angle and to high geared for the s12 so good luck
this is exactly what i did! i followed the thread *swap a ka24de in 24h* but i was way too lazy to do this in 24h!

same here mine is 2/86 MK1 body with a MK2 silvertop Ca20E but its automatic so i would have to get a manual C tranny and use the bellhousing from the KA and it would bolt. up. oh and is there any chance i can mat the KA automatic to the automatic Ca tranny??? dumb question just asking though (curious)
i dont know if it would fit, but why would you do that? automatic?.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
today i started to wire everyrthing.. and I found out a major fuck... my KA is a 95, and my wiring is a 91... so there are different plugs for the egr, distributor, and maf.... lucky me, the guy who sold me all this gave me a 91 maf, so everything is ok... i still need to find a distributor, but i think i know where to find it... as for the egr, one of my friend have a 91 in his backyard garage, so we removed the intake manifold, and as we were in it, we started to do the EGR valve removal procedure.... i'll post pics once it will be finished!
ho and for the S13 rad in a S12, you need to cut the support, if you dont do it, it will be too tall! so, at least, i learned a thing or two today!

Um....I used the entire ka24de and ka tranny...exactly what are you talking about? I don't see how my transmission is gonna damage to the frame...and what about being high geared? Um, I've done the swap, and what you said doesn't make sence to me. I'm not flaming you, just not understanding right....because the mine worked fine... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If your radiator was in good shape for the s12, you could've just used it...it cools just as efficiently, and is actually larger volume...( I'm assuming you mean s13 U.S 240sx)

its a S13 Can radiator, probably the same as the US, but from eye sight, it seems bigger... still, the one i had in the s12 was all rusted, and i had this one for free, since it was lying in my friends house!
right now i trie to figure out if the coil from the S12 will fit with the S13 distributor, cause i don't have the KA coil (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
Why, oh why....does everyone sexually molest their "new" motor whilst it is hanging in the air from the cherry picker??? hahaha.
lookin good. did you get it running yet?
the guy sold the car to one guy i know
seems like he didn't manage to get the wiring done.
If i get some time i'll go and finish the wiring to get it started but right now im helping him via msn since he lives 3hours from me!
Thanks frank... any help is appreciated. I'll owe you a beer once this'll be done!
yep, i sold the car to Altyman! i had really no time to work on the car, and i never had finish the wiring part. well, i was also bored to put money on something that doesn't run. and.... well, the other *real* reason, is that i falled in love! yeah..... with a supra! mkiii 86.5, so i quitted nissan, but i stay in the old school hype!
thanks for everyone on this board who helped me!
