Ive noticed, surfing around on this forum, that not many of the s12's are "seriously styled" OR making ALOT of HP, like for instance, take the s13 or s14.. almost every car i've seen has some kind of styling or puts up HP-numbers of EASY 250-300HP..

There aren't a lot of styling for the s12s right? Not a lot of aftermarket stuff like bodykits, engine-kits especially made for the s12 and so on..

'Cus Im not a s12 owner YET, but Im definetly getting one thats for sure, because they look nice, they dont cost TOO much over here, and its still a turbocharged engine with lots to work with..

Im just curious, should i stick with my s12 plans, though i could wait a couple of extra months to get an s13 instead?

for the price difference (s13's are roughly double the price of s12's over here), i would go for the s12. Sure the s13 has more power and looks nicer to more people but so what, its all about uniqueness icon_biggrin.gif.

Yeah thats true, here i can find an s12 for 15.000 Skr, when the s13 costs like.. 30.000-40.000 Skr

yeah, and you can really turn some heads if you get it nice and fast, whereas a fast 240 is kinda old hat.

An s12 would definatly turn some heads around here if it runs well icon_smile.gif
Anyways.. its mostly bodywork i "worry" about..
Not that the s12 originial body is ugly or something.

Yeah any schmuck can hop up an S13, but working with an S12 is a challenge.

Are there any kits that would fit with little or no modding at all?
Or if you have any tips on like, spoilers or wings that looks good on an s12?

I think the front from a S13 Silvia would fit, but I don't have any proof. this picture has a s13 Silvia areo front on a s12.

we know because it was discussed a few months back, a couple of people called and they discontinued the kit, and sold off all the individual peices(they went real fast from what i heard)

it would be relly sweet to find someone with real skill to try to copy the kit, would be damn hard from a pic, and i am shure even though they dont make the kit anymore they would not release the specs on it

shitty. i think it would be worth it to try to get the specs. best case scenario, they sell us the molds icon_biggrin.gif.

the s12 might be a lot cheaper initally but unless you're willing to do a lot of work yourself (or 'know someone'), it'll be more expensive in the long run because there's virtually no support for it. most of it will be custom. if you're looking for bolt on mods, you'd be better off going with the s13. if you want everything custom, they'd probably both turn out close in cost.

if you're keeping the car stock, the s12 will likely be cheaper (unless the spare part is no longer produced).

The S12 pic on the race track is from an Aussie racing series. It has a FJ20ET in it amongst other race stuff.

I think I have an article about the series and features that car. I'll have a search and see what I can find.

Well I confirm that it IS an s13 bumper by it's signal lights and plus a resource back in japan when they saw the pic. I wanna try it out some day as soon as some $$$ starts rolling my way. But it has to be an JDM s13 coupe version and not 180sx. Though it even maybe possible to put those on but needs intensive modding.

If you guys saw my s12 meet vid or the updated website, the last three to the left, the middle guy has a fiberglass hood! I think maybe back in the day they had fiberglass hoods for these cars.
