You could try this from Ebay, they have S13 Hoods.
http://members.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aboutme/princeofauction/
I'm on www.3geez.com and they made a carbon fiber group buy like a year ago, i don't has my accord yet, they run $435 shipped, you sould contach SITE he's the man on this group buy, ppl on this board say G3autosport.com gets his hood from the company Site buys.
Heres the link whit information on the buy, it will be too cool to have a C/F hood for S12.
http://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6456
PS dont stick C/F sticker on your steel hood, doesn't look fine (no offenses, looks rice! )
Luis
i can make fiberglass hoods if i can get my friend to ake the molds. You could paint it black and it would weigh as much as your front bumper kits.

Fiberglass would be cool !!! keep me updated if you get one of those, and you're rigth weigth reduction it'll be almost half of the steel hood.
I just wondering on the bolts for the hood hinges, maybe a side-by-side bolts and those APC hood pins instead the latch whould be so cool.
Luis
i dont know as far as the hood pins go though (kiinda ricey) but ill have to see what i will do. I got osme fiberglass vents and other things im going to throwi ntehre with them, maybe ill have a hood bulge molded in with it. I will just have to wait and see.

There is virtually no difference in a hand lay up process between carbon fiber and fiberglass, just material cost. CF twill weave tends to run about 10X more, yet random weave is a probably only 5-8x higher than fiberglass.
Now if you goto prepreg fiber thats another story. There just arn't many car size autoclaves around. But the process is a whole lot easier than working with raw fiber. In F1, patterns were generated on the CAD system, and then they had a seamstress in the clean room cut out the patterns in fiber. Next they would put the patterns on the mold (in the cleanroom of course), and then roll the mold into the autoclave, and in a little while, there would be a completed part. Doing hand layups with resin and vacuum bagging seems to take forever, but you do get some pretty cool parts.
Good luck
Ron
